To the Board!
Founded on Monday July 8, Bibleforums has
grown to almost 12,000 members and almost 700,000 posts (March 2006) in just a
short space of time. We trust it will be yet another useful tool in helping you
in your walk with Christ.
So whether you are a regular Joe like me or a
Minister of the Faith, fire away with your questions, views and thoughts. You
can submit online counseling requests, ask questions, submit prayer requests,
ask Tech questions, make suggestions and much more. Look forward to meeting with
you inside!
If you are new to message Boards the following
will help you:
Q. What is the purpose of this Board?
A. There are bazillions of secular Boards around but not many
good Christian ones. A Message Board is a place where like minded people hang
out and discuss things of common interest. Our hope and prayer is that this
Board will be just that for you and many other Christians.
Q. Who "runs" the Message Board?
A. You do! The members of a Board ask the questions and the Members
answer. The Moderators are only there for when things go wrong - technical stuff
and, if necessary to take action against Board abusers.
Q. Is my Identity and Email address
Private?
A. Yes. If you want it private use a nickname and not your real name and make
sure when you sign up you do not click the "Make e-mail address viewable by
others" box. If by accident you do, you can always go back to your personal
Control Panel and change it to private.
Q. How many posts can I make per day?
A. As many as you like, provided you have something to say

Q. How many responses can a post have?
A. Unlimited. (Within reason, of course).
Q. Can I send someone a private message?
A. Yes. Use the U2U function. See the
FAQ in the Board for more.
Q. Does this Board have Rules?
A. Yes. Like all things in life there are
Rules

Q. What about adding more forums? Will you
add more?
A. Tell us what you want. If we like it, you got it. No problem.
Q. Can I post in any forum?
A. Almost. You can't post in "Most Common questions" otherwise post wherever you
feel you can contribute.
Q. Can I report Board abuse? Where? To
Whom?
A. We will probably spot it and take appropriate action. If we don't you can
either post a message in "Suggestions Complaints, Remarks" or, better still
send a U2U message to the Moderator of your forum.
Q. More Questions?
A. Check The Rulez and
FAQ in the
Message Board or look in the various forums at the
Help Desk.
